How to Keep Skin Moisturised Naturally During Winters?

Dry, flaky skin is liked by none. But, you can’t get away with dry skin in the winter season. 1. Natural Oils

 

There are a wide number of oils amongst which you can choose the one which suits you the best. The best natural oils to moisturise skin are coconut oil, jojoba oil, sesame oil and castor oil. Choose any one oil and apply it all over your body. Massage for a couple of minutes and keep massaging until the oil is properly absorbed into the skin and leave it overnight. 3. Buttermilk

4. Shea Butter

5. Yoghurt

 

Yoghurt is packed with healthy nutrients like vitamin B12, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Also, it contains lactic acid which helps in preventing dry and itchy skin. On the top of that, yoghurt helps remove dead skin cells, tighten pores and keeps the skin hydrated.

 

Apply fresh yoghurt all over your skin and leave it on for 10 minutes. Wash it off with water. You can use yoghurt to treat hair fall too. It is one of the best natural ingredients for both skin and hair.

 

6. Almond Oil

 

Almond oil contains plenty of vitamin E which acts as a natural lubricator for dry skin. Take some almond oil and heat it. Start applying warm almond oil all over your body. Keep massaging for a minute or two. Let the almond oil stay on your skin for half an hour. Rinse off with water. Follow this process four to five times a week.

7. Avocado

 

Avocado contains vitamin C, vitamin E, fatty acids and other essential nutrients which help in keeping the skin moisturised. Take an avocado and remove the pulp. Gently mash it so that no lumps remain. Apply this to your skin. Let it stay for 10 minutes. Wash with warm water.
